Data Reporting Analyst
£35,000 per annum + perks
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Private Equity-backed, multi-site Hospitality business. With multiple well known bars and restaurants in their portfolio they are looking to expand rapidly with 10 new sites forecasted to open within the next 5 years.
Due to this massive expansion, the company requires a Data Reporting Analyst to be a vital member of a small team to assist in turning the data gathered from the sales and convert it into valuable business information. This is essential in allowing senior management to make informed and strategic business decisions.
Managing the data flow of the Food, Beverage & Controllable cost system.
Assisting the operation and commercial teams by ensuring the system is used properly and efficiently by all parts of the business
Creating weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports in a clear, concise and timely manner
Assisting where necessary with internal audit checks of stock.
Managing the ongoing upkeep of the data, ensuring it is accurate, relevant and readily available
Training new staff members on how to use the system (both operationally and the support staff at the ranch
Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in the data
Filtering and “cleaning” the data on a periodic basis
Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities
Other ad-hoc work as and when required
Proven working experience with the FnB system or similar
Confident dealing with large quantities of data
Adept at report writing and presenting findings
Advanced Excel skills – notably v-lookups, sum ifs and index match (not exclusive)
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment whilst maintaining levels of accuracy
An interest and more importantly passion for the hospitality industry
Degree in either numerical studies or hospitality management
An understanding of basic accounting (accruals, prepayments, stock, gross profit)
