Finatal are working with a PE-backed SaaS business generating c.£500m revenue, supported by multiple top-tier private equity sponsors, the business is executing a value creation plan focused on product innovation, international expansion, margin improvement, and strategic M&A.
They are now seeking a high-caliber Senior FP&A Manager to partner with the senior leadership team and assist a best-in-class finance function to support scaling and acquisition strategy.
The Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you will own the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting process, providing board-level insight and supporting strategic planning, M&A, and investor reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the FP&A cycle: budgeting, forecasting, and reporting (P&L, cash, KPIs)
- Deliver board-level analysis highlighting variances, risks, and growth opportunities
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate ROI, model initiatives, and challenge assumptions
- Support PE sponsor with investor reporting, covenant tracking, and value creation KPIs (ARR, churn, LTV, NRR, CAC, EBITDA)
- Build complex scenario and acquisition models, investment appraisals, and business cases
- Automate dashboards in Power BI, Looker, or similar
- Assist with bolt-on acquisition modelling, post-deal integration, and synergy tracking
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, processes, and systems
What They’re Looking For:
- FP&A experience in a PE-backed SaaS business exceeding £200m revenue
- Proven strong modelling skills, including acquisition and integration modelling
- Deep, proven understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economics
- Advanced Excel / modelling skills; experience with ERP / FP&A tools (e.g. NetSuite, Adaptive, Anaplan, Power BI, Looker)
- Commercial, hands-on, solutions-oriented, with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualification is essential
