The Opportunity

Here at Finatal, we have aggressive growth plans so we are always on the lookout for people who can come in and improve us, people we can identify as future directors of the business. Our CEO, David Rooney, was the key driver as Managing Director, in his previous business which grew from 8 consultants to over 100 before the business was sold, so he genuinely knows how to grow a business and how to develop people so that fast-paced growth can be achieved. We look for people with exceptional people skills and a strong potential to excel within a sales driven role. You’ll be liaising with some of the most senior people within private equity-backed and growth businesses so you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to build solid relationships across the board. We recruit roles from £75k to £200k and the vast majority are retained so there are fantastic fees available and more importantly a bonus scheme that pays out at up to 50%. We also have an EMI scheme available to reward the very best with an equity stake in the business.

Our willingness and motivation to be the best at what we do, mean that combined, we all have the same universal goal. The strong work ethic is balanced, however, with flexibility and autonomy - we agree targets but we don't do babysitting so we let people crack on and develop their roles in the way they want!

Training

On your joining you are given a range of training sessions from our Training Manager, Adrian Callendar, along with dedicated coaching sessions from our directors, David Rooney and Paul Blant who combined have racked up 35 years of experience of assisting consultants reach their full potential. Most small recruitment forms outsource their training but we realise it is critical to constantly improve and enhance skills which is why we have a dedicated in-house Training Manager. As consultants develop we also invest heavily in leadership skills training so we can identify and develop the future directors.
