Finatal, the human capital partner to private capital, has appointed Alex Jillions as Partner and Head of Interim for its North America business, as the firm continues to develop its interim offering for private equity-backed companies.
Based in New York, Alex will lead the next phase of growth for Finatal’s interim capability across North America, working closely with private equity sponsors and portfolio leadership teams to place experienced interim leaders into critical value creation, transformation and change mandates.
Alex joins Finatal from Heidrick & Struggles, where he was Principal and Head of Financial Services for On-Demand Talent, partnering with large- and mid-cap clients across banking, wealth and asset management, fintech and private equity. He previously held roles at global management consulting firm RGP and the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco. Alex brings hands-on experience delivering interim solutions across financial services and private capital, advising clients on when and how to deploy interim leadership effectively.
Alex Jillions, Partner and Head of Interim at Finatal, said:
“Finatal has built an outstanding reputation across the North America market since launching here in 2023. What attracted me to the business is the strength of the platform and the clarity of its focus on private equity. The team has a deep understanding of how PE-backed businesses operate and the pressures management teams face. That creates a powerful foundation for an interim offering: one focused on putting the right leaders in place at the right moments to help businesses move forward. I’m excited to work with the team to expand our solutions for clients across the full range of value-creation levers.”
Mark Sattin, Managing Director at Finatal, said:
“I’m delighted that Alex has joined us, having recognised what we’ve been building in North America over the past two years. Supporting value creation across portfolio companies sits at the heart of what our private equity clients are seeking to achieve, and interim leadership is playing an increasingly critical role in that process. I am excited to work with Alex to develop interim solutions that directly support those value creation agendas, and his experience and perspective will be a real asset as we continue to evolve our offering.”
Finatal opened its first US office in New York in 2023. Founded in London in 2010, the firm provides a full suite of recruitment solutions for private capital, spanning fund and investment roles through to C-level leadership across portfolio companies and privately held organisations. Finatal employs more than 100 consultants across the UK, North America and Europe.
