The Opportunity

A financial services business with an active acquisition strategy is seeking an Integration Manager to lead post-merger integration projects across the UK. This role will be responsible for planning and delivering integration initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment between newly acquired businesses and the group’s operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute structured integration plans, including 100-day strategies and long-term transition frameworks.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including M&A teams, functional heads, and acquired business leadership, to ensure smooth integration.
  • Lead workshops to assess risks, identify opportunities, and establish key integration activities.
  • Oversee multiple integration projects concurrently, ensuring financial and operational alignment while maintaining business continuity.
  • Provide structured project management, tracking key milestones and ensuring timely execution. Identify best practices and lessons learned to improve future integration processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrable experience in M&A integration, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with C-suite executives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site integrations in a fast-moving environment.
  • Knowledge of financial metrics (P&L, KPIs) and experience in cost and synergy analysis.
  • Background in change management and project management is beneficial.
