The opportunity:
A venture capital firm is looking to add a Business Development Associate to their London office. Since launching in 2015, they have invested in 80+ companies, and are actively investing globally at the early stages of the start-up journey – from Pre-Seed to Series A.
As a Business Development Associate, you will originate new capital relationships, build relationships with stakeholders and assist in fundraising efforts. You will report to the Founder & Managing Partner.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or a related role within VC or financial services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and presentations.
- Experience in cultivating investor relationships or managing and converting a sales pipeline and delivering strong customer service.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
