About the Company:
Finatal has partnered with a mid-market, private equity-backed professional services company in search of a seasoned CFO. Key responsibilities include turnaround/transformation experience, delivering cost reductions and restructuring, proven decision-making, and process improvement experience. The business is currently operating at approximately ~£120 million in revenue and ~£8 million EBITDA.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and transformation of the business. This is a key role requiring Private Equity (PE) experience, ideally with a background in professional services or turnaround situations, and a proven track record of delivering an exit or successfully managing a failed exit process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the change management process to transform the business and lead the financial direction in collaboration with the CEO and board.
- Cost Reductions & Restructuring: Implement strategies to deliver significant cost reductions and restructure the business for improved performance and profitability.
- Process Improvement: Reorganise business processes, establish strong metrics to hold sales teams accountable, and drive operational efficiency.
- Decision-Making: As an experienced decision-maker, be prepared to take the reins as a proactive partner, actively leading from the front to instigate and manage change, not merely supporting from the background.
- Metrics & Accountability: Implement rigorous performance metrics to align business operations and sales with company objectives.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A strategic leader with significant Private Equity experience, particularly in turnaround situations.
- Proven experience in driving cost reduction initiatives and successfully restructuring businesses.
- A leader who can reorganise processes and ensure accountability through data-driven performance metrics.
- Someone who will lead change from the front and ensure the company is set up for growth or successful exit.
Location & Commitment:
The role requires the successful candidate to be based in London for at least three days per week.
Please understand that, due to the anticipated high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly.
