With the backing of a leading private equity firm, they are scaling rapidly both organically and through strategic M&A. Having already established a strong presence across Europe, they’re now setting their sights on expansion into the USA and beyond.
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and driving the next phase of the companies growth. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with our private equity partners, you’ll lead the finance function and act as a trusted advisor on business strategy, operations, M&A and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a robust financial strategy to support our growth objectives, including market expansion and M&A activities.
· Oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company goals.
· Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration of acquisitions to maximize value creation.
· Act as the primary liaison with private equity stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
· Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
· Ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks are in place to safeguard the business.
Key requirements
· Proven experience as CFO in a private equity-backed company.
· Expertise in B2B technology or a company with a recurring revenue model.
· Strong M&A experience, including financial modelling, due diligence, and integration.
· Demonstrated success in international business expansion, particularly in Europe and the USA.
· Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
