The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially astute CFO to join the executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role to shape and deliver the next phase of growth, while ensuring the financial, operational, and strategic rigour required to succeed in a competitive global eCommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, driving financial strategy to support growth and international expansion.
  • Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and actionable insight.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, embedding strong processes, controls, and performance culture.
  • Partner with supply chain, operations, and merchandising to optimise stock management, working capital, and margin improvement.
  • Build robust cash management processes and oversee relationships with banks, investors, and key stakeholders.
  • Play a critical role in private equity reporting, value creation planning, and potential future transactions.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance, systems, and data to support scalability.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a CFO within eCommerce, retail, or consumer-facing businesses.
  • Strong understanding of stock, supply chain, and working capital management in a high-growth, product-led business.
  • Track record of delivering commercial insight, improving profitability, and supporting international expansion.
  • Experienced in a private equity–backed environment, comfortable with pace, complexity, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, but equally capable of strategic vision and leadership.
  • Collaborative and resilient leader with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire teams.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
