The Role

Finatal is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals, and overseeing all technology operations and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement an innovative IT strategy that supports business objectives and growth plans.
  • Technology Management: Oversee the management of all IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and scalable.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company data and systems.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Budget Control: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders to understand and address their technology needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks to the business.


  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the construction or property development sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CIO, ITIL, CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning, leadership, and project management skills. Proficiency in enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of current and emerging technology trends, and their impact on business operations.
  • Attributes: Visionary, results-driven, and capable of leading complex projects and initiatives.
