Finatal is looking for a Chief of Staff on a permanent basis and based in Amsterdam. Following the successful take private of our client, the company and its PE sponsors are looking to hire a senior Chief of Staff, to report to the Chief Transformation Officer to support what is most likely the largest and most complex transformation project occurring in the recent past across the whole European ecommerce and digital market.
Accountabilities
- Value creation planning & execution: organise all internal reviews of business performance including ownership, tracking and delegation of VCP plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership, providing insights, advice, and operational support.
- Act as a liaison between the key stakeholders, including the CFO, CIO, CTO, and the investors.
- Oversee value creation plans, delegating tasks to the appropriate teams and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate and manage special projects & strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across different departments and teams.
- Organise and manage all senior executive meetings, including setting agendas, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-ups.
- Lead internal reviews of business performance, identifying areas of improvement and coordinating with relevant teams for implementation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as Chief of Staff, Value Creation role, Private Equity Operating Partner, or PMO role in another private equity-backed business. Ideally proven experience in a similar PMO role.
- Background in management consulting, strategy, banking, or private equity, with a deep understanding of the dynamics of a private equity-backed environment.
- Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing multiple workstreams.
- Experience in corporate strategy within a large institution is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
