The Opportunity
Finatal is working with a c.£150M, private equity-backed professional services buy-and-build business. They are looking for a commercial finance leader to be a right-and to the CFO and assist driving growth through support on M&A, maintaining investor relations, and FP&A.
The Responsibilities
- P&L overview and ownership of the budget and reporting
- Cash flow forecasting
- Work with Leadership team to analyse product/service/operating margins and develop strategies to improve
- Define and develop operational and financial KPIs working with leadership
- Business Partner cross-functionally to create create change
- Work with People Team and Leadership to analyse reward and retention schemes and develop strategies to improve returns
- Work with Group Finance on continued operational efficiency
- Lead further system improvements from finance perspective
- Own financial aspects of significant contracts and bid processes across the segment
The Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with at least 5+ years’ experience
- Gravitas to be heard in senior management team and ability to present the business to internal and external stakeholders
- Desire to roll sleeves up and “get involved”. But must be able to balance this with helicopter view
- Experience of operational change
- Private equity experience desirable
