An established, private equity-backed global SaaS organisation is seeking a Commercial Revenue Analyst to join its Strategic Finance function on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. This opportunity arises during a period of operational and reporting transformation and will play a critical role in enhancing commercial visibility and revenue performance analytics.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of Data and Finance, supporting the evolution of recurring revenue reporting and driving improved data integrity, automation, and insight generation. This role is well-suited to a commercially focused analyst with demonstrable experience in SaaS environments, particularly those operating under ARR or subscription-based revenue models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated SaaS reporting frameworks (ARR, MRR, churn, retention, cohort analysis).
  • Validate, reconcile, and resolve revenue and commercial data discrepancies at source-system level.
  • Streamline and optimise existing reporting processes, reducing reliance on manual Excel-based workflows.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Commercial stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.
  • Translate complex data sets into actionable insights that inform pricing, retention, and growth strategy.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience within a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue mechanics (ARR/MRR, churn, expansion, net revenue retention).
  • Advanced analytical skillset with experience building automated reporting solutions beyond Excel.
  • Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Tableau advantageous).
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, transformation-led environment.

This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a value-creation agenda within a private equity setting.
