About Us:

Finatal is working alongside a market leading real estate company who are currently looking to hire a new M&A manager due to a significant increase in M&A pipeline. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the company’s acquisition strategy and play a crucial role in their continued success.

Role overview:

The business is seeking an M&A Manager with a strong background in due diligence and the ability to support across the deal cycle. This role will focus on managing and executing critical components of the acquisition process, including pricing, valuations, and post-completion accounting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior management to help ensure smooth and efficient transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial, operational, and commercial assessments.

· Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to gather and analyse relevant data.

· Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with acquisition targets.

· Prepare detailed due diligence reports and present findings to senior management.

· Support post-completion accounting activities, including integration of acquired assets and financial reporting.

· Assist in the execution of deals, including negotiation support and preparation of transaction documents.

What We Are Looking For:

· ACA qualification or similar.

· Experience in M&A advisory, due diligence/TS, corporate finance, or related fields.

· The position would likely suit candidates seeking a first move into industry from Transaction services or similar.

· Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

· Excellent understanding of the due diligence process and ability to identify key issues and risks.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience in the real estate sector is a plus but not essential.
