As their student numbers grow and diversify their programs, They are seeking high-calibre individual to join their team as Corporate Tax and Treasury Specialist.
Role Overview: As their new Corporate Tax and Treasury Specialist, you’ll manage their corporate tax, cash, and banking operations, ensuring compliance with global tax laws, protecting value, and managing tax-related risks, including reputational ones. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a respected department, reporting directly to the Financial Director, with responsibilities across all jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical, technical tax advice to finance teams and overseas branches/subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local tax requirements and supporting business initiatives.
- Manage the preparation and submission of UK subsidiaries’ corporation tax returns, addressing queries and ensuring timely and accurate payment of direct and indirect taxes.
- Supervise cash flow forecasting for the client and its subsidiaries, ensuring financial obligations are met and maintaining strict control over cash at bank.
- Oversee the preparation and audit of financial statements for subsidiary entities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisers, auditors, and bankers, managing these interactions to ensure cost-effective and efficient service delivery.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified members of a leading professional accounting institute or individuals with a relevant Tax and Treasury qualification and significant post-qualification experience.
- Experience working within a multi-site environment.
- Highly organized, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to instill confidence in stakeholders, including Group, Banking, Auditors, and regulatory authorities.
