The Opportunity
Finatal is partnered with an exciting, entrepreneurial private equity fund who are looking to add a new investor to their world-class team. They typically focus on control investments in high-quality mid-market companies across Europe. The Role
- You will be involved on deals end-to-end from day one. This will include origination, due diligence/evaluation, execution and portfolio monitoring.
- You will participate in various kinds of financial analysis (including modelling) and operational analysis of portfolio companies.
- You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…).
- You will work closely with the rest of the deal team to identify, screen, evaluate and make recommendations on potential investments.
- You will assist with portfolio management, including tracking performance and preparing dashboards, strategic input and assessing operational focus points.
The Requirements
- 12-18 months experience investing experience. Prior investment banking experience highly preferred.Â
- An exceptional academic track record.
- Strong modelling skills and a developed commercial acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ambitious, adaptable mindset.
