The Opportunity
Finatal is partnering with a scaling digital platform which has recently received a sizable investment fuelling a buy-and-build strategy. The business has upper double figure revenue, and the CFO who leads on strategy and operations, now requires a hands-on Finance Director who is comfortable managing a team and being stuck-in on the broader professionalisation of the finance function to support future scale.
The Responsibilities
- You will be hands on in managing the finance function (x 2 direct reports, x 3 indirect)
- Post deal integration support (alignment of systems, team, etc) alongside the M&A team to integrate acquisitions.
- Critical assessment of existing processes, controls and systems, and hands on support of the consistent improvement
- Support on forecasting, budgets and KPI’s
- As the business has grown, the audit process has become more complex, therefore you will oversee and support this process.
- Develop and maintain all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management.
- Partner with the business to deliver timely and insightful analysis to support strategic decision making, working closely with the CFO on the ongoing strategy of the business.
