Overview
Currently working with a PE backed organisation, in the Health Tech sector, looking to carve out a fast-growing entity, with £10m + turnover and a 35% EBITDA margin. The Finance Director will be responsible for all financial operations within the business, partnering with the executive team, supporting growth strategies, managing the separation from its parent company, and preparing the business for acquisition and sale.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Implement value creation plans, bid for new contracts, and scale the business effectively.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, reporting, and cash flow management. Transition financial operations separate from the group.
- Commercial Insights: Analyze contracts, manage working capital, and provide financial support for tenders and private pay models.
- Separation & Transaction Support: Lead the separation from the parent company, ensuring readiness for acquisition due diligence and the equity sale.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with private equity stakeholders, investors, and external advisors, preparing for the eventual sale.
Requirements
- Chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed SME.
- Strong financial planning and cash flow management experience.
- Leadership skills to engage with stakeholders, including investors and the board.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience with long term contract revenue.
