Position Overview:
Finatal is supporting a PE backed entertainment business, seeking a Finance Director, reporting directly to the CFO, to pivotal role in shaping and executing the finance strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CFO in the development and execution of finance strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead and manage the core and commercial finance teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Monitor and report on cash flow, providing insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance.
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior executives across the organisation, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Manage relationships with third-party advisors, including auditors, tax consultants, and legal counsel.
- Drive continuous process improvements within the finance function, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or equivalent
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the entertainment industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
