We are partnering exclusively with a high-growth, PE-backed services group, generating c.£100m revenue, which has scaled rapidly through acquisition-led growth and is now preparing for an exit in the next 12–18 months.

Due to continued expansion and increasing group complexity, they are hiring a Finance Manager (flexible title) to play a critical role in group reporting, consolidation, and senior stakeholder support. This is a high-impact hire, offering significant exposure to senior leadership and the CFO, and exceptional career and exit experience for an ambitious finance professional.

What you will be doing

Business Partnering

  • Act as a key finance partner to senior leadership, supporting commercial decision-making and performance management.
  • Provide clear insight, challenge, and analysis, helping leaders understand financial drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships across finance, operations, and group teams, working closely with international stakeholders.

Group Reporting, Consolidation & Financial Insight

  • Own group consolidation and reporting across a complex multi-entity, international structure.
  • Lead month-end close, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting.
  • Deliver high-quality management packs, providing clear narrative, trend analysis, and actionable insight.
  • Support bank reporting and lender compliance in a PE-backed environment.
  • Ensure strong financial control, reconciliations, and data integrity across multiple systems.

Strategic Planning & Commercial Support

  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, improving forward-looking insight and planning accuracy.
  • Partner with FP&A and leadership to enhance commercial analysis and performance tracking.
  • Support post-acquisition integration, including reporting alignment and financial integration.
  • Contribute to group-wide projects, including systems improvements, process optimisation, and exit readiness.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop an Accounts Assistant, providing structure, guidance, and support.

About You

  • ACA / ACCA qualified, ideally 1–3 years post-qualified.
  • Strong technical grounding, ideally from audit or group finance environments.
  • Experience with group consolidation and overseas entities highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, PE-backed, acquisitive environments.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator, commercially minded, and able to challenge constructively.
  • Curious, proactive, ambitious, and motivated to progress quickly.
  • Comfortable working with imperfect systems and fixing problems.
