The opportunity
Finatal is partnering with an exciting consumer brand in their search for a Finance Manager. The brand is backed by a prestigious fund who specialise in the retail / consumer market and boast an excellent track record. Operating at c.£80 million, the business requires a technical finance professional to ensure a clean month end, year end and improve financial controls and processes.
The responsibilities
- Responsible for month end, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
- Monitor and optimise working capital components such as AR/AP, and inventory.
- Support on budgeting and the Financial Controller on process and controls improvements
- Streamline finance processes to reduce manual workloads and improve accuracy.
- One direct report (Assistant Management accountant)
The requirements
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Private Equity exposure is desirable but not necessary.
- Sector relevant experience required.
- Tenacious and self-motivated with a strong teamwork mentality.
- Strong IT skills in order to support the professionalization process.
