Finatal are partnering with a SME, high-growth, PE-backed business, currently scaling and preparing for an exit in the foreseeable future.
Following continued growth, they are looking to hire a high-calibre Finance Manager to support group reporting, consolidation and business partnering across a complex, international structure. This opportunity offers a great platform for a step-up in your career, either for a step-up accountant or current FM.
Requirements
- ACA (or equivalent), with ideally 1-3 years’ PQE.
- Strong grounding in audit or group finance.
- Experience in multi-entity environments, ideally at group level.
- Experience working in a PE-backed business or private equity exposure throughout career.
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skillset.
- Confident communicator.
- Proactive, ambitious and keen to progress quickly.
What you will be Doing
Reporting & Financial Control
- Support group consolidations across a multi-entity, international structure.
- Own key elements of month-end close (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow).
- Prepare management reporting packs with clear commentary and insight.
- Ensure strong financial controls, reconciliations and reporting accuracy.
- Support audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Business Partnering
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to support performance.
- Provide analysis and insight to support decision-making.
- Build relationships across finance and international teams.
Planning & Commercial Support
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Assist with performance tracking and variance analysis.
- Contribute to integration of acquisitions and ongoing reporting alignment.
Projects & Process Improvement
- Support system and process improvements across finance.
- Assist with reporting enhancements and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to wider finance transformation and exit readiness projects.
