Finatal are working exclusively with a recently acquired PE backed global manufacturing business. They’re looking for a hands-on and strategic Finance Transformation Manager to join the growing team and drive a series of high-impact transformation and implementation projects across our finance function. You’ll play a critical role in modernising processes, systems, and reporting across multiple regions and business units.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on change, enjoys building from the ground up, and has a passion for creating scalable, efficient financial processes and insights. Reporting into the Group Finance Director and working alongside finance, sales, operations and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a weekly cash forecasting
- Build and deploy operational KPI dashboards using Excel and/or Power BI to drive performance and visibility.
- Support ERP implementations, ensuring finance processes are embedded effectively.
- Manage and streamline the Order to Cash process
- Assist in rolling out new budget and forecast processes, ensuring accuracy and stakeholder alignment.
- Implement standard costing across the organisation in collaboration with operations and systems teams.
- Roll out lean finance processes to improve efficiency and free up team capacity.
- Create scalable commercial analysis packages that can be used across regions for strategic decision-making.
- Develop insightful inventory analysis packs to support supply chain and operational decisions.
- Build and maintain a standardised balance sheet reconciliation process.
- Review, improve, and document financial controls and processes.
- Lead and improve master data management processes across finance and operational systems.
About You
- Proven experience in finance transformation, implementation projects, or a similar change-focused finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including standard costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and transformation projects.
- Proficient in Excel and ideally experienced with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
- A process thinker – confident in mapping, reengineering, and optimising workflows.
- Able to influence and engage with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-entity or international environments.
- Excellent communicator and project manager with a collaborative mindset.
- Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
