The opportunity:
Finatal is partnering with an exciting Drinks Manufacturer looking to scale through M/A activity. They are in need of a technically strong Financial Controller in order to assist in the planned SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation as well as pre and post acquisition accounting. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in improving processes and driving efficiency, working proactively rather than reactively.
The requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Experienced technical accounting roles.
- Examples of leading change in a lean team.
- Post acquisition integration experience.
- Prior involvement in ERP implementation (ideally SAP S/4HANA).
The responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and speedy audit and month end.
- Mentoring team members and upskilling junior accountants.
- Ability to deal with M/A costing and operation activity.
- Reporting into the FD and working closely alongside.
- Driving process improvements.
