The opportunity:
Finatal is representing an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller where the successful candidate will join a growing, and private equity-backed restaurant chain. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in the delivery of change and improve processes, controls and systems, and support the broader professionalization of the finance function alongside the CFO.
The requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Experienced financial controllership roles.
- Examples of leading change in a lean team.
- Post acquisition integration experience.
- Prior exposure to retail and multisite businesses.
The responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Report directly to CFO.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance across all entities.
- Managing the companies working capital through AP / AR.
- Financial reporting and driving efficiency in controls.
- Communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Technology integration in deploying a new ERP system.
- Maintain the treasury function.
