The Opportunity

Finatal is partnered with a fast-scaling, PE-backed SaaS business, currently generating c.£50m–£100m in revenue with strong ARR growth and international expansion underway.

As FP&A Manager, you’ll report directly to the Head of Finance and take ownership of the business’s financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who thrives in a data-led, tech-enabled environment and wants to play a central role in informing strategy and supporting investor reporting. You’ll be responsible for building out FP&A capability, producing board-level insights, and driving collaboration across product, tech, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Build dynamic financial models to support scenario planning, commercial decisions, and fundraising activity
  • Develop and enhance reporting packs for internal stakeholders and external investors
  • Track and analyse SaaS KPIs such as ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, NRR, and customer cohorts
  • Partner with department leads (sales, marketing, product) to support cost tracking, ROI analysis, and growth initiatives
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and commentary
  • Support investor relations with monthly board packs, KPIs, and ad hoc analysis
  • Lead improvements in financial systems and data flows
  • Contribute to fundraising and M&A modelling as the business scales
  • Support ad hoc strategic projects, including international expansion, pricing, and customer profitability analysis

The Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or strong commercial finance background
  • Strong experience in an FP&A role within a SaaS, tech, or recurring revenue business
  • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics and business models
  • Strong communication skills — able to translate data into actionable insight for senior stakeholders
  • Experience using financial and business intelligence tools
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, investor-backed environment
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong commercial awareness and business partnering ability
