The Opportunity:
A high-growth, acquisitive SaaS business headquartered in Manchester is seeking an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join its expanding team. With revenues of £110m and £25m EBITDA, the company is firmly on its acquisitive journey, preparing for an exciting exit within the next two years.
The FP&A Analyst will report directly to an established Private Equity FP&A Director, with a dotted line to the Group CFO – both of whom bring significant PE experience and a proven track record of successful transactions. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to Private Equity value creation in a business that is scaling rapidly.
The Role:
- Support post-merger integration across new acquisitions.
- Partner with business unit leaders spanning Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Operations.
- Challenge decision-making processes and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives, streamline reporting, and implement practical planning tools.
- Develop robust financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping FP&A processes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
The Requirements:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2–3 years PQE.
- Strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
- Exposure to planning tools, process improvement, and reporting optimisation.
- Track record of working in high-growth environments, ideally within Private Equity backed or acquisitive SaaS businesses.
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
This position offers the rare chance to work alongside seasoned PE leaders, directly influencing the growth and value creation strategy of a SaaS business on an accelerated journey. For a finance professional looking to build Private Equity credentials and shape a high-growth company’s future, this role represents an exceptional platform.
