Role Overview:
Finatal is partnered with a PE-backed FMCG business, seeking an FP&A Analyst to support the Finance Director with all commercial finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly FP&A reports, ensuring accurate and timely analysis of financial performance.
- Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights, track performance, and influence decision-making.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide analysis on commercial activities, including product profitability, sales trends, and market dynamics.
- Support on various ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required by senior management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an FP&A or commercial finance role, ideally within FMCG or a PE-backed business.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial models and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
