The opportunity
Finatal is partnering with an exciting Fintech business in their search for an FP&A and Reporting Manager to bolster their finance function. The company is looking to expand its FP&A function with a hire that excels in modelling, budgeting and forecasting. The successful hire will be part of a lean team, working closely with the CFO and FC producing standardised reports and dealing with ad hoc requests. Backgrounds in Fintech or similar regulated industries are preferred.
The responsibilities
- Ensuring standardised reports and dealing with info requests.
- Interacting and reporting to the bank.
- Analysis of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Support investor relations and report to the board.
- Tackling ad hoc projects and optimising performance through cost reduction and profitability focus.
- Variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Scrutinise and improve the quality of data.
- Building models and monitoring financial performance to support growth.
- Streamlining financial reporting process through automation, cutting report preparation time.
The requirements
- ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Excellent FP&A modelling and reporting.
- Commercially minded.
- Acute level of detail and accuracy in work.
- Tenacious and self-motivated.
- Enjoys ad hoc activity and taking direct action.
