Finatal is a leading lending business on the brink of an exciting transition. As we navigate through our current exit phase, we’re seeking a skilled Commercial Finance Consultant to support our team. This is a pivotal role, instrumental in ensuring our strategic and financial data aligns perfectly for potential investors and stakeholders.

Role Overview:

As our Commercial Finance Consultant, you will dive into our data room, scrutinizing and interpreting the financial details critical to our due diligence process. Your expertise will be central in managing the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) activities and enhancing our strategic financial model. You’ll collaborate closely with external advisors and internal teams, ensuring that every financial aspect is meticulously reviewed and optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Room Analysis: Conduct a thorough review of the financial data room, ensuring all information is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.

· Due Diligence Coordination: Work alongside external advisors to oversee all Financial Due Diligence (FDD) activities.

· Strategic Financial Modelling: Evaluate and refine our existing financial models, ensuring they meet strategic goals and are investor-ready.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align financial insights with business strategy.

· Reporting & Recommendations: Deliver detailed reports and actionable recommendations based on your findings.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Finance Expertise: Extensive experience in commercial finance within the financial services sector.

· Due Diligence Mastery: Proven track record in managing FDD, particularly in a corporate exit or transaction scenario.

· Financial Modelling Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modelling, with a strong strategic and analytical approach.

· Sector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of lending and financial services.

· Professional Credentials: ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.
