We are partnering with a sub £100m t/o, PE backed software business. With a strong leadership team in place and a clear roadmap for growth, this business is approaching the end of its cycle, pushing towards an exit. You will join the finance function as a commercially astute leader and play a critical role in driving performance and strategic insight. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer and working closely with the CFO, CEO and wider leadership team, the FP&A Lead will oversee the day-to-day planning and analysis function, helping shape financial strategy and enabling data-led decision-making at the highest level.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing monthly reporting and producing clear, insightful financial analysis.
  • Creating and delivering models.
  • Help develop and deliver board-level reports in line with Private Equity expectations.
  • Supporting the financial integration of newly acquired businesses, including international operations.
  • Assisting the budgeting, reforecasting, and cash flow modelling processes.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business on growth initiatives and commercial strategy.
  • Contributing to ad hoc projects tied to scaling, transformation, and value creation.

Requirements:

  • Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Significant experience in FP&A, ideally within a SAAS/recurring revenue business
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality analysis and reporting under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous exposure to PE-backed or high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
  • Exit exposure.
