Finatal is partnering with a leading PE-backed IT services business (c.£50m t/o) looking to recruit an FP&A Manager. This is a hands-on, high-impact role working closely with the CFO and leadership team, providing financial insight, supporting acquisitions, and driving value creation across the group.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically strong, commercially-minded FP&A professional to play a central role in shaping the growth and integration of multiple businesses within the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CFO and senior finance team to deliver robust FP&A processes across the group.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the group and individual business units.
  • Analyse financial performance, operational KPIs, and project profitability to provide actionable insight.
  • Develop and standardise management reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks across portfolio businesses.
  • Support strategic buy-and-build initiatives including acquisitions, integration planning, and post-merger performance tracking.
  • Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior management and investors.
  • Advise on growth levers, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency across the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Proven FP&A experience within PE-backed IT services business is essential
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills.
  • Advanced Excel and FP&A/BI tool proficiency (e.g., Power BI, Adaptive, Anaplan).
  • Experience in fast-growing, PE-backed similar sized revenue (c.£50m t/o) businesses and/or buy-and-build groups.
  • Big 4 or transaction services experience is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to recurring revenue, managed services, or integration of acquisitions advantageous.
