The Opportunity:

Finatal is partnering with an international software business with a $70m turnover and positive EBITDA, backed by a leading Private Equity firm. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is on a clear path toward an exit within the next 2-3 years. Headquartered in London and committed to innovation, excellence, and delivering exceptional value to their clients; this business is pushing the boundaries of their industry and is challenging a historically non people led approach. The business has subsequently been recognised as gold standard and importantly prioritising its end users and staff alike.

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious FP&A Manager to join an established finance team.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first hire in their FP&A function, allowing you to own, build, and shape this critical area from the ground up. You will work closely with, and report directly to, an established Private Equity CFO, playing a pivotal role in driving their financial planning and analysis processes.

· Develop and Lead FP&A Function: Establish and lead the FP&A function, creating robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.

· Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

· Business Partnering: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to provide insightful financial support and recommendations.

· Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the CFO and the board, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

· Strategic Planning: Assist in long-term strategic planning, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.

· Team Building: As the business grows, recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.

· Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and support various ad hoc financial projects as required.

The Requirements:

· Experience: Proven experience in an FP&A role, ideally within a high-growth environment. Experience in software or technology sectors is a plus.

· Qualifications: Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) is preferred.

· Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are essential.

· Mindset: Ambitious, proactive, and able to work independently. A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

· Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting with senior stakeholders.
