Finatal is partnering with a lower mid-market private equity fund who are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) within the private equity space for a technology/SaaS business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial turnarounds and managing cash flow. The role requires strong international finance experience, particularly with SaaS/technology companies, and the flexibility to travel to Ireland a couple days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management and maintain financial stability.
- Turnaround Management: Provide the leadership needed to stabilize the business during the turnaround phase.
- Private Equity Reporting: Engage with UK private equity stakeholders, providing regular updates on financial performance, KPIs, and progress on the turnaround plan. Ensure alignment with investor expectations and compliance with reporting standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of detailed annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve profitability.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in CFO role, preferably within the technology or SaaS sector.
- Private Equity Experience: Significant experience working in a UK private equity-backed environment.
