The opportunity:
Finatal is working with an innovative and high-performing private equity fund looking to hire a Fund Accountant into their finance team. This role sits within a lean team and will allow for a wide breadth of responsibilities across finance including fund finance, financial statements, investor requests and stakeholder management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an high performing private equity fund and gain exposure across the finance team.
The role:
- Assisting the finance team with preparation of financial statements, and period end journals
- Recording bank transactions and performing regular bank reconciliations
- Assisting FD with ad-hoc investor requests
- Numerous ad-hoc elements across the finance team – lots of exposure
- Fund accounting
The Requirements:
- Qualified or part qualified Chartered Accountant
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience
- A sound understanding of the fundamental principles of accounting
- Meticulous attention to detail
