About the Role:
Finatal is partnered with a leading LSE-listed company specializing in innovative technology solutions to the manufacturing industry. The business is currently operating at £100m+ revenue and are seeking a highly experienced Group CFO to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth through strategic acquisitions and organic opportunities. The Group CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for shaping portfolio strategies, making major investment and financing decisions, and leading a global finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO to develop and implement the Group’s strategic direction.
- Embed strong operational controls across the organization.
- Develop and manage a company-wide performance dashboard with key performance indicators.
- Lead financial aspects of Investor Relations and support the CEO in representing the Group’s strategy to stakeholders.
- Oversee key corporate finance functions, including Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance (M&A), Tax, Treasury, and Insurance.
- Influence decision-making through strong functional leadership and excellent relationships with Group Executives and Divisional teams.
- Ensure high-quality external multi-currency reporting and support the CEO in proactive Investor Relations.
- Oversee group consolidation and head office accounting functions, ensuring robust financial control.
Experience and Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified preferable
- Proven track record as a CFO in a publicly listed company.
- Extensive experience in complex, multi-division groups with global reach.
- Strong strategic and operational focus with a portfolio management mindset.
- In-depth understanding of financial processes, including multi-currency reporting, transfer pricing, and M&A.
- Demonstrated success in investor relations and building a first-class reputation with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with credibility in interactions with senior executives and the Board.
