Finatal is currently looking for a Group CFO to join a high-growth, private equity-backed, B2B digital marketing agency that is entering the final phase of its investment cycle.
The business has scaled rapidly through a successful buy-and-build strategy, completing approximately five acquisitions annually and reaching £120m in revenue with £30m EBITDA.
With a well-structured finance team of 20 already in place, the Group CFO will step into a mature yet fast-moving environment, readying the business for a likely exit in the next 18 months – expected to be either a secondary buyout or a strategic sale, most likely to a US trade buyer.
Finatal is seeking someone who understands what it means to take a private equity-backed business through a transaction: someone who can lead the finance function through diligence, drive commercial insight, challenge the status quo, and represent the business with credibility and clarity to buyers and investors alike.
The successful candidate will bring experience of working in a multi-entity, acquisitive business, ideally with prior exposure to tech-enabled or marketing-led sectors. They will be comfortable managing complexity, driving reporting and control improvements where needed, and acting as a true business partner to the CEO and board.
