Role Overview: The Group CFO will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Private Equity investors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial strategy of the business, ensuring that all financial goals are met while supporting the company’s growth and international expansion plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall growth objectives and international expansion plans.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration processes for future acquisitions, supporting the company’s buy-and-build strategy.
- International Expansion: Provide financial oversight and support for the company’s international growth initiatives, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance across all regions.
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for Private Equity investors, providing clear and insightful financial updates and managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Partnering: Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to provide financial insights that drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a Private Equity-backed business, preferably within the digital transformation or technology sector. Experience with international expansion and M&A is essential.
- Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align financial strategies with broader business goals.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis, with a solid grasp of complex financial structures and transactions.
