Finatal are seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead finance across a PE-backed, international, multi-entity professional services business (c.£15m t/o). This senior role covers global reporting, FX, and M&A support, reporting to CFO. You will take ownership of group financial control, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and smooth integration of acquisitions. Work closely with senior leadership to drive efficiency, insight, and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group month-end close and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations
- Oversee international reporting, compliance – professionalisation of function
- Support M&A activity, post-acquisition integration, and lead on investor/board reporting
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and coordinate audits
- Deliver multi-currency analysis across lines, geographies, and clients
- Drive ERP/CRM system projects, automation and finance team development
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification group or international finance experience
- Track record in financial control, audit management, and complex consolidation in PE backed professional services business
- Experience with acquisitions in multi-entity PE backed environments
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities
