Finatal is working with a PE-backed renewable energy, growth-business in central London. Our client is looking for a technically solid individual who is ready for a step up in their career. Reporting into the HoF, with the opportunity to be hands-on and make a difference, this a real opportunity for growth, development and exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical side of the group, with accurate management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, providing clear insight to senior leadership and supporting business growth.
- Lead month-end close, statutory accounts, audit, and tax compliance, ensuring robust controls and high-quality financial reporting.
- Maintain strong balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, working capital management, and financial controls.
- Deliver cashflow forecasting, runway modelling, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Manage and review the work of two direct reports.
Requirements:
- Ideally ACA Qualified, or equivalent.
- 3-4 years’ minimum hands-on, post- qualification, industry experience within a PE-backed portfolio company – bonus if energy-related.
- Previous Private Equity exposure.
- Confidence to hit the ground running and make an impact.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with strong ownership.
