We’re partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business (c.£300m+ revenue) entering a critical phase of scale and value creation. With a strong international footprint and active M&A pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to professionalise finance, enhance reporting, and support continued growth.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of group financial control, reporting, and governance across a multi-entity, international business. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to leadership, investors, and transaction activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group consolidation and month-end close across multiple entities
- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful board and investor reporting
- Strengthen financial controls, processes, and governance frameworks
- Own technical accounting matters (IFRS / revenue recognition)
- Support M&A activity including diligence and post-deal integration
- Partner with CFO on finance transformation and systems improvement
- Manage and develop an international finance team
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Group Financial Controller in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS business
- Strong multi-entity consolidation and reporting experience
- Exposure to M&A, integration, or buy & build environments
- Systems experience (NetSuite, D365 or similar highly desirable)
- Hands-on, commercial, and comfortable operating at pace
