The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Accounts Receivable to lead our European accounts receivable operations. This is a pivotal role within our finance team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and collection of receivables, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining the high standards expected by our HNWI and VIP clientele.
- Lead and manage the European accounts receivable team, providing direction, support, and performance management.
- Develop and implement effective accounts receivable strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and collection of payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align receivables processes with overall business goals.
- Analyse financial data and generate reports to provide insights into receivables performance and areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the accounts receivable function.
The Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent finance qualification.
- Proven experience in a senior accounts receivable role within a large, multisite, or international organization (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, particularly related to accounts receivable management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Experience dealing with high volume & high-value transactions and VIP clients is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
