Position Overview:
A leading global private markets investment firm is seeking a Head of DACH Distribution to lead sales and distribution efforts across the DACH region. With over $700 billion in total capital under oversight and more than $5 billion in assets under management in its private wealth division, this is a unique opportunity to join a highly reputable and rapidly growing platform. The firm is dedicated to connecting private wealth investors with institutional-grade private markets strategies, supported by a global presence spanning 10+ countries.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and distribution efforts across private banks, wealth managers, family offices, and global financial institutions in the DACH region.
- Develop and execute a DACH-specific distribution strategy to drive capital raising across private equity, private credit, and other alternative investments.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client channels.
- Oversee the creation of client-facing materials, presentations, and tailored reporting for DACH clients.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services tailored to the DACH market.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in private markets or wealth management, with a strong focus on distribution or capital raising in the DACH region.
- Proven success in engaging private wealth channels, including private banks, family offices, and wealth managers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Deep understanding of private equity and alternative investment strategies.
- Fluency in German and English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
