Finatal is currently partnered with an online marketplace that has recently been acquired by a large player in the automotive industry and is now looking to bolster its fast-paced growth and professionalise the technology and product function focussing on innovation and excellent service offering. You will work closely with the executives to develop and implement the strategy and lead the development of a further engineering team.
Role:
- You will lead the technical teams focusing on instilling best practices and defining and implementing innovative ideas to support growth. Working closely with the software development team you will support continuous improvement of the platform.
- You will lead the business through its cloud migration project from GCP to Azure with cost-effectiveness and scalability in mind.
- Working closely with executive stakeholders you will gain buy-in for innovations and support managers across the business.
- Have responsibility for the technical budget and develop resource strategies in line with company goals.
Requirement:
- You must be able to speak German at a professional level, all interviews will be conducted in German.
- You have a proven track record in software development with extensive experience in a leadership or strategic role, including having led software development and cloud infrastructure teams.
- Excellent communication skills help you to explain technical concepts clearly and communicate them at all levels of the organisation.
- You have experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IT infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of modern development and deployment methods (e.g. Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
- You have a degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering, or a related field.
