Finatal is supporting a high-growth, multi-site health and wellness business operating across clinics and an expanding e-commerce and telehealth platform. The company combines a subscription-based D2C model with physical locations and is entering an exciting phase of digital and international growth. The incoming Head of Finance will take full ownership of the finance function, act as a commercial partner to the CEO and CFO, and play a key role in shaping strategy, profitability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, month-end and management reporting.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across all business units.
  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Implement scalable systems, processes, and controls to support rapid growth.
  • Provide commercial insight on clinic performance, product mix, and marketing ROI.
  • Build financial models to support pricing, new site openings, and international expansion.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting for leadership visibility.
  • Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and advisors.

Requirements

  • ACA qualified and with 2/3 years of industry experience within a start-up/scale-up environment
  • Background in consumer, retail, or e-commerce environments; exposure to multi-site or subscription models desirable.
  • Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
  • Hands-on operator comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Proven ability to implement structure and drive process improvement.
  • Excellent communicator with the confidence to influence at board level.
