Finatal is working exclusively with a B2B SaaS scale-up who are looking for a Head of Finance to join their SLT and support in driving towards Series B (next 12m) and eventual exit following this. 

The scale-up needs someone who is hands on in nature with the ability to manage an ever-changing/evolving environment. This business are at a very exciting stage of growth and need a tried and tested leader to drive them forwards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives and drive long-term growth.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide strategic guidance on pricing strategies, revenue recognition, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Oversee financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation decisions to support operational needs and strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and process optimization.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
  • Proven track record of success in finance leadership roles, preferably within the B2B SaaS or technology industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.
