Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

The Opportunity 

Finatal is partnering with an exceptional PE house to support their search for a Head of FP&A for their portco. The business requires a skilled modeler and team leader to head up their FP&A function. You will be a part of a transforming landscape, focusing on the expanding operations and providing clarity to the business as it scales. 

The Responsibilities 

• Lead Group budgeting and forecasting, ensuring correct margins. 
• Oversee financial analysis for renewable energy investments, including project feasibility, ROI, and capital structure.
• Report into the FD while managing a team of 3. 
• Review margin analysis across the business divisions. 
• Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly board packs.
• Provide adhoc financial models upon request to support strategic business decisions. 
• Conduct cost base analysis and comment on variances to highlight cost saving and inefficiencies. 

The Requirements 

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent 
• Proven energy / natural resources / utilities sector experience
• Strong hand in developing and implementing financial models, project evaluation, and business case analysis.
• A strong communicator with an analytical and problem solving attitude. 
• Attention to detail and a hands on approach will enable the successful candidate to excel, with promotions down the line on the cards.
