Finatal is working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed SaaS company, looking to appoint a commercially driven FP&A Manager with a technical (ideally audit) background/foundation. This is a pivotal role within the finance leadership team, offering broad exposure across strategy, performance management, and value creation, while working closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial insight, improving planning processes, and strengthening group-wide reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously improve the group’s financial planning and analysis framework, including budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the CFO and senior leadership team, delivering commercial insight to support decision-making.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess performance, growth initiatives, and investment opportunities.
- Provide detailed analysis of revenue, margins, cost drivers, and operational KPIs, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Design, develop, and standardise management reporting and dashboards across multiple operating entities.
- Support M&A activity, including financial due diligence, integration planning, synergy tracking, and post-acquisition reporting.
- Partner with operational teams to improve financial performance, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency.
- Produce high-quality reporting for senior management, board, and investors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong FP&A background gained within a PE-backed portfolio company, within any sector.
- Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA or equivalent) with excellent commercial acumen and financial modelling capability.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience using BI and FP&A systems (e.g. Power BI, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar).
- Ideally from an audit practice background
- Proven experience operating in fast-growth, PE-backed businesses or multi-entity, buy-and-build environments.
