Finatal is supporting a PE backed software business, seeking a Head of FP&A to play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial leaders, providing actionable insights and financial analysis to drive performance.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and business cases to support growth initiatives.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of management information, KPIs, and board-level reporting to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with private equity stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on key financial metrics and initiatives.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven track record in FP&A leadership, ideally within software/SaaS industries.
- Private equity experience is essential.
- Strong financial modelling, data analysis, and commercial acumen. Proficiency with FP&A tools and systems is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, inspire, and develop teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, including C-suite and investors.
