Finatal is representing an opportunity of Head of FP&A for a leading technology consulting business backed by a highly reputable PE fund. Providing expertise across sectors, including financial services, retail government, and healthcare generating c.£140 million annually. Requiring a strong background in financial planning, modelling, analysis, and an understanding of the demands of a private equity-backed business will be key. This is a high-visibility role that will partner closely with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights and help guide strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the CFO and wider Senior Leadership Team for the management of performance and delivery of strategic plans.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for the leadership team, board of directors, and private equity stakeholders.
  • Deliver actionable insights by analyzing variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) across revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
  • M&A support

– Play a key role in supporting due diligence, valuation, and integration efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures. Work closely with private equity sponsors on post-acquisition integration and value-creation initiatives.

  • Scenario modelling

– Lead financial modeling efforts to evaluate various business scenarios, assess risks, and support investment decisions, including capital expenditures, R&D, and new market expansion.

-Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop talent within the finance function.

The requirements

  • ACA qualified
  • Proven finance leadership experience
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills, with proficiency utilising Power BI and Anaplan
  • Present complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
