The Opportunity:

Join our high-growth, Private Equity-backed international consumer services business as the Head of FP&A and Reporting. Based in the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and reporting across the Portuguese and European markets.

Our business, with a turnover of €50M, is a key part of a larger £1bn turnover group. We are highly acquisitive and backed by significant Private Equity investment, which fuels our ambitious growth plans. Our services span multiple-sites and we are dedicated to expanding our footprint and market presence across Europe.

The Role:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the FP&A function, providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to drive business performance and support decision-making.
  • Reporting: Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with both internal and external requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial goals with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • M&A Support: Provide financial expertise and support for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management, Private Equity partners, and other key stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing FP&A and reporting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior FP&A or financial reporting role, ideally within a Private Equity-backed or acquisitive environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in the consumer services or multisite sectors is highly desirable.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a must.
