Finatal is partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site business with a significant UK footprint and a clear growth agenda. Operating across a large and diverse estate, the business is focused on driving performance, improving visibility, and supporting continued expansion.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, the Head of FP&A will lead all planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the group. This is a high-impact role, responsible for delivering actionable insight and supporting strategic decision-making across a complex, multi-site operation.

You will work closely with both finance and operational leadership, helping to drive performance at both group and site level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Own the monthly board pack, delivering clear, insightful performance analysis
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to drive site-level performance and profitability
  • Develop and track key multi-site KPIs (e.g. utilisation, labour efficiency, margin performance)
  • Build robust financial models to support growth, investment, and strategic initiatives
  • Provide commercial insight and challenge to senior leadership
  • Improve FP&A processes, reporting, and systems
  • Build, lead, and develop the FP&A function

Candidate Profile

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven FP&A leadership experience within a multi-site environment (essential)
  • Background in consumer-facing, healthcare, or operationally complex businesses preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment is advantageous
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Track record of improving reporting, processes, and controls
